Capital Photography Center Workshop
Action photography is capturing images of life at the peak of excitement. Whether the action is youth sports or other activities in everyday life, similar photographic skills and techniques are required to capture the action.
Join me and learn how to capture the peak of excitement and emotions while taking pictures during a youth soccer game. Similar to pro athletes, youth sports participants put forth the same effort, and experience the same emotions on the field of play. The skills you’ll learn to shoot compelling action photographs can be used on vacation, during family events, holidays or just about any picture taking opportunity where you want to capture action and excitement.
First, we will cover the basics including composition, focus, exposure and ISO settings as well as general action photography best practices.
Then we will go to a sports field for hands-on practice photographing game time soccer. During this shooting session I will be providing help and feedback.
