Not an ordinary bike race but a high wheel bicycle race of what were know as penny farthing bikes. See what your great great great grandparents might have seen back in the ol’ timey days of 1880 Great Britain. Today the only American high wheel race of its kind takes place on the historic streets of Frederick MD.

We will photograph the racers as they navigate a .4 mile street loop.

This is a very crowded event so we may not be able to gather as a group. Find a spot along the loop that makes you happy and photograph the fun. Post your best pictures to the Meetup album after the event.
