Smartphone Photography - Getting Started at the American Indian Museum DC
Learn to use the camera that’s always with you and go beyond taking a simple snapshot to creating a photograph that’s an artistic expression unique to your vision. Join me at the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington DC and tap into your creative side through smartphone photography.
The museum presents plenty of photographic opportunities for architecture, still life, people and more that are perfect for phone photography.
We’ll start with the basics of learning to use a smartphone camera and review the settings for optimal image capture to pro tips and techniques of exposure, composition and focus that produce the best results.
The number of photography apps available seems endless and can be very confusing when trying to choose what to purchase. I will cover some of the most exciting apps for image capture and processing used by mobile photographers worldwide so you can achieve your artistic vision.
This class is designed for users of iOS mobile devices, but Android users are welcome too. The list of apps will be included in your confirmation letter and should run no more than $10

Participants will need to bring a fully charged smartphone. A charger is a good idea too as photos quickly drain the batteries.
