Capital Photography Center Workshop
Creative Smartphone Field Shoot - On the Mall
Learn to use the camera that’s always with you and go beyond taking a simple snapshot to using apps and creating a photograph that’s an artistic expression unique to your vision. Join me outdoors at the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden.
Using our smartphones we’ll make our own art from art as we photograph the sculptures at the Smithsonian outdoor gardens. We’ll find endless photographic opportunities perfect for smartphone photography in this area including a large fountain.
We’ll start with the basics of learning to use a smartphone camera and review the settings for optimal image capture as well as tips and techniques of exposure and focus that produce the best results.
In addition to covering the native phone camera settings, I will cover one of the most popular editing apps for image editing used by mobile photographers worldwide so you can achieve your artistic vision.
This class is designed for users of iOS and Android mobile devices. The list of apps will be included in your confirmation letter and should run less than $4.
